Cookies and Cream Oreo fudge Brownies

The Other day I came across a recipe of the most delicious looking brownies I have ever laid my eyes on!!

So today I made those brownies and I thought I would share them with you! I know I am so nice...

Yummmmm! I happen to be eating one right now, along side a tall glass of milk.

Now if for those of you that are wondering how to make them here you go...

The ingredients-

*Brownie mix

*2 eggs

*1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

*Double stuffed oreos (yes double stuffed is a must)

*Hot Fudge

*Cookie and Cream Icecream

*Milk Chocolate Chips

Mix your brownie mix with eggs and oil (don’t add the water). Then add a heaping 1/2cup scoop of ice-cream (you could really put any kind of ice-cream in there you want. I wanted cookies and cream). Then add a scoop of chilled hot fudge, and a handful of chocolate chips or as many as your little heart desires! Mix it up.

Then…

 

Layer your what should be pretty thick brownie mix with whole Oreos. 1 layer brownie mix 1 layer Oreos then 1 more layer brownie mix. You can then swirl some caramel on the top layer like I did last minute that's why it wasn't part of my ingredients list but man was it a nice touch!

Bake at 350 for at least 30 min or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center. Now the trick is to not over cook them so they stay a little gooey I over cooked mine and wished they were a little more gooey. Next time!!

The Boys were playing in the backyard as the sun set in the sky and I went out to check on them. I haven't had my camera out in a while but just couldn't help myself there was so much beauty in our tiny little backyard I had no choice but attempt to capture it…

Summer Fun

What happens when two boys age 3 and 1 want to water the grass…
 
They Actually water the door and themselves instead! But when its 110 degrees outside can you really blame them.
I also have been up to some fun around here- Since we are being blessed with a baby girl in our home sometime in November I have been busy buying and making stuff already- My first project is a quilt. I have it all cut out and after our return from the 4th of July celebrations in Heber I will start sewing it up. Here is the fabric I think its absolutely lovely!

Home Sweet Home--again

Well Its over—sorta We are all moved out of our old place and into our new place there are still boxes piled up around every corner. What a death trap when you have to wake up at 3 in the morning and stumble to find the bathroom!
I think the thing I hate the most about moving is even though you have to put away and organize all the stuff you don't use on a regular basis you still have all the everyday stuff like dishes and laundry and toys that have to be cleaned folded and put away even though there isn't a place to put it yet!!
I suppose I would be getting more done if instead of blogging while Kellin sleeps I put away those boxes-
Today while I was busy doing things around the house I found the boys had moved there ‘cheese stick’ snacks from the kitchen floor to the stairs Little stinkers- But they were to cute to get upset about the cheese everywhere so instead I took their pictures! It was a nice break-
I think my favorite one is the second one down were Cory isn't looking at the camera and Kellin’s little belly is hanging out of his shirt

My New Toy!

Jake blessed me with my very first SLR Digital Camera. WOOHOO I am so excited I am giddy all the time.(you all probably noticed this by the photo overload that started just before Christmas) This week I started taking some workshops so that I can learn how to use this thing. My goal is to eventually be comfortable enough with my camera so that I can be for hire!(I would LOVE to take your picture)But for the time being I am just a wanna be Amateur Photog who is in LOVE with her camera!!!

Days when i get to sit around and rock my babies

Days when i can lay around with the man i love with all my heart, and watch our children play

{Better Then I Imagined}

Yesterday was spent recovering from a Wednesday of lounging about and spending the day with Jake on his day off. The house was a complete disaster and hadnt been scrubbed since before I had Kellin. As crazy as it sounds it felt good to be up and cleaning away!

Afer a short break of feeding the baby, chaninging his diaper and getting Cory a quick snack. I got up to get a nice cold glass of water. On my return to the couch were Kellin was laying snug in the boppy pillow This is what I found... 



My Heart was Smiling! So I decided to sit and enjoy them a bit longer before I hurried of to scrub the toilets. As I was sitting there thinking and smiling. It occurred to me that this life I chose is better then I could have imagined. And every day it just gets better!

WHAT A MESS!

I know what this must look like...

With a New baby in the house...

It must be a desperate cry out for attention!

But actually this is just My Cory doing what he does best making a mess! And believe it or not I love every minute of it-- or him.
