On a side note I had my 1st ultra sound the other day. I have never had one so early before it was pretty cool to see the baby so small like a little Gummy Bear! I am always overwhelmed by the miracle of life and growing a baby Its so amazing. I’s such a blessing to bring little babies into this world!

Babies

nathan4495ccrop
I was debating this afternoon when I would blog this… I was going to wait for a few more weeks and then thought what the heck! Jake and I had planned on keeping it to ourselves for awhile. That lasted about 24 hours if that!
We are expecting BABY #3 In November!!!
WOW Kellin and the baby will be about 18 months apart! I am pretty nervous about that, but what can you do right? It will be a learning experience for sure.

**the Photograph was taken by Brittany Woodall her site is Here and you should check it out her and her partner Carrie Sandoval are amazing photographers. I hope to take pictures this great someday!

Dreaming...

threeyrs

i often wonder when my little three year old drifts off into a slumber. what are his dreams filled with? i can see him storming the castle walls on his noble steed fighting off a fiery dragon! i can see him deep sea fishing catching sharks and turtles and roping a ginormous whale. i can see him riding on the back of an elephant deep into the jungle searching for golden treasures. i’m sure he goes on all kinds of adventures with dinosaurs and furry creatures. maybe tonight i will meet him on one of these magical expeditions!

A Bit Early...

kellinsittingup1

Kellin will be 6 months old in about 10 days!!!!

were did the time go? My Baby is sitting up almost perfectly now Chubby and full of smiles and giggles. And I have to say he is BEAUTIFUL. I just love to stare at him and take pictures of that face. I think he's pretty enough to be a girl. Perfectly pink lips, long eye lashes, perfect eye brows, and big blue eyes. I'm trying to figure out were this kid came from and whose genes he actually got.

He is growing and learning so much everyday. He LOVES his big brother Cory. His face just lights up when Cory comes in the room and his eyes never leave him.

6 months later I can say things might not be getting easier with two kids but it sure is getting fun! I love my children. I LOVE kellin and the sweet spirit he has brought into our home. I love to squeeze and kiss him. I just cant get enough!!

Kellin has changed so much since we brought him home…

motherhood...

i think all babies are beautiful... if i could i would have a million of them. i am learning quickly that each child is uniquely different, even brothers can be almost opposite.
in my lefetime i have had many jobs, and carried out a few callings in the church. but none has been more challenging or more rewarding then my calling to be a mother.
President David o McKay Said
“[The] ability and willingness properly to rear children, the gift to love, and eagerness … to express it in soul development, make motherhood the noblest office or calling in the world. She who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions deserves the admiration and the plaudits of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, … deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God”

i know i am far from being even a great mother but i have many wonderful examples in my own life. my mother is amazing. she is and continues to be an example to me! she has endured much and has shown me time and time again of the importance of faith. my mother-in-law is also a great example to me and i am greatful to her and for all the things she has tought me in the past 4 years. i love them both!
i hope i can live up to the blessings that I have recieved and will recieve from being a mother.

Days of Laziness continued...

Photobucket

A few days ago i rambled on about being "lazy"... If you came to my house this evening you would see a half made apron with fabric still pined to a pattern, toys strung all over the floor, a sink full of dishes shoes by the front door several loads of clean unfolded laundry in piles two sleeping boys and one handsome man feet propped up watching sports center.
I may not have finished my sewing goal for the week, Scrubbed my floors folded all the laundry put away all the dishes or picked up all the toys...
But I did march around the house like an elephant with a imaginative 3 year old. I did rock my sweet baby boy to sleep many times. I did watch Tom cat chase Jerry mouse while being climbed on drooled on and sat on. I did scoop up my boys one in each arm and run around till they both laughed and smiled gleefully. And I did sleep in on a Friday morning with both of my children and my husband in the same bed knees in my back hands in my face and little squishy cheeks snuggled close by my side.
So much for my "organized schedule" !!!

{Better Then I Imagined}

Yesterday was spent recovering from a Wednesday of lounging about and spending the day with Jake on his day off. The house was a complete disaster and hadnt been scrubbed since before I had Kellin. As crazy as it sounds it felt good to be up and cleaning away!

Afer a short break of feeding the baby, chaninging his diaper and getting Cory a quick snack. I got up to get a nice cold glass of water. On my return to the couch were Kellin was laying snug in the boppy pillow This is what I found...

Photobucket

My Heart was Smiling! So I decided to sit and enjoy them a bit longer before I hurried of to scrub the toilets. As I was sitting there thinking and smiling. It occurred to me that this life I chose is better then I could have imagined. And every day it just gets better!

To All the Mothers I know!
Happy (Late) Mothers day!
I am sure you would all agree with me that mothers are the best and being a mother is the greatest job in the world--even when its the hardest thing you've ever done!

"Motherhood is the greatest potential influence either for good or ill in human life. The mother's image is the first that stamps itself on the unwritten page of the young child's mind. It is her caress that first awakens a sense of security; her kiss, the first realization of affection; her sympathy and tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world."
President David O McKay

"For a child there is magic in the midst of the mundane-- watching Mother dance around the kitchen, taking a buggy ride wrapped up in her arms, trying to knead the bread dough just as she does, sharing a prayer, hearing her word of praise or encouragement. Such precious memories can be every mother's most enduring gift."
"Magical Moments," Ensign, MAR 1985

Hope You all had a great day that you were spoiled and waited on, And more importantly that you were surrounded by the ones you love the most!

WHAT A MESS!

I know what this must look like...

With a New baby in the house...
It must be a desperate cry out for attention!

But actually this is just My Cory doing what he does best making a mess! And believe it or not I love every minute of it-- or him.

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments about our new baby boy! We are pretty sure we will be keeping him!

I just wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures from this last week which has been an adventure-- even though we haven't even left the house!
Normally When Cory plays with a laundry basket the clothes that were in it are strung about the house--But this time...
He put them all in the washing machine!

Poor Dad Looks a little tired and kellin looks as content as can be

A sleeping angel-- at least for now he's an angel.

{Tick toc Tick toc}

I dont think sitting here staring at the clock watching the seconds and minutes pass by are going to get this baby here any faster...
So instead I will sit here and watch these two boys fall asleep to a baseball game...

Watch Cory Play in the back yard and look for bugs...

Help Cory Look for bugs...

Get pulled around by my fingers to get out the blocks, read a book and look for lost toys...

Enjoy my little boy a few more days while its just the two of us...

Try and think of all the reasons I will miss being pregnant can think of only one...

And kiss on this boy a few more times

{One Reason Not To Care}

My Feet Hurt all Day
I get leg Cramps ALL night
I cant sleep cause I cant get comfortable and when I do I have to PEE!!!
My skin itches like crazy
I cant sit for very long cause my butt goes numb
I cant stand very long cause my feet hurt
I am tired all day
My back kills All day and night
I cant breath cause my lungs are squished
I have heart burn ALL day long
I eat all day long--that's not really a complaint I guess
My pant size has gone up almost 6 sizes!! Maybe cause I eat all day
I am not looking forward to all the Pain of Labor (I didn't get an epidural with Cory and those 24 hours of labor haunt my sleep)
I Pee like every 30 minutes
I cant bend over
I cant see my feet
My stomach is being stretched out to the MAX
I have horrible Stretch Marks
I cant catch Cory anymore when he runs away from me
Jake calls me his little penguin
I can see cottage cheese on my calves
Did I mention I cant Sleep?
But...
I have only One Reason Not To Care
In about 8 weeks I am going to have a sweet tiny little slice of heaven in my home!

(yes I did photoshop the stretch marks AWAY)
