Potty Training!
I have taken on the 2 year old and the potty. The results have beginer written all over it-- for me that is. I am not so sure I am the master at potty training. But tommorrow I PROMISE to hit it hard and give it me FULL atterntion whenever possible.

In the meantime I have a Funny story at least it was at the time.
Yesterday as the day was drawing to an end and many attempts to go potty on the toilet failed yet again. I decided one last sit on the toilet before diaper and bed. Well Cory had other plans and was very upset that I interupted his wrestling around with his uncles to strip him of his cars underwear and make him sit one the toilet for the 100th time for NO REASON at least I am sure thats what he is thinking. Whats the point right?
After he declared that he was DONE -- even though there was still nothing to show for it. I helped him down. well he was still mad at me and me not being in the mood to wrestle on his diaper or underwear I walked away to let him have his space. I was visiting with Jake for about 5- 10 minutes tops and No Cory. So I handed Jake the baby and set off to find out why Cory hadnt reapeared and why he was being so quiet. To my surprise the bathroom door was shut and the light off. As I opened it I called out for Cory. then there it was a sad little cry coming from behind the toilet room door. I laughed to myself and whent to open the door and found out the reason for the crying. It was locked!
From the inside out! When Dad came to the rescue with the screw driver. what was behind the door was an image I wish I could have gotten on camera you know for blackmailing a teenager years down the road.
Cory was naked as can be just sitting on the toilet crying-- yes he climbed up there all by himself. I couldnt help but laugh out loud even when I saw the little tears running down his face!
Something tells me that by the time we are done this wont be the last time this happens...

LOL...how cute...poor little guy! Does he use an adult potty or a small potty? We got Danika a potty awhile back and it sings when she uses it. I don't know how bold you are willing to go with potty training but I have heard of people letting their kids run around naked. I guess after a few times of peein' on themselves, they start to use the potty. Sounds familiar! Try letting him go outside...lol! I know it sounds weird but we did grow up in heber so its not that bad! As soon as we let Kingston go in the rocks or on the grass or the wall or the tires of our car or off my dads porch...lol he got it!!! M&M's work wonders too!! GOOD LUCK!
I know you want to get this stage done and over with but I found with ALL 4 of mine just to let them when they are ready. I have had friends push their kids more than their kids wanted and then like a month later after they thought no more diapers they go right back. I say try and if he doesn't like it then stop for a couple of weeks and then try again. always talk about it though so they know it is something they need to do. He'll get it.
Haha, that is a funny story. Poor Cory. I can just picture hime destraught. Good luck on potty training. Keely still has accidents once in a while, and sometimes I think, "why ever take a kid out of a diaper, it is so much easier than running a two year old to the potty" Haha, he will get it, and I still don't know what I am doing.

oh the joys of potty training! you are brave though...taking it on with a new baby. go nicole! gage is doing pretty good with it but there are still some accidents. good luck!!! love ya!

IM IN THE SAME BOAT. BODEN IS DOING VERY WELL. MY NEXT ONE WILL BE HARD FOR SURE. IT DOSENT HURT THAT BODEN WILL DO ANYTHING FOR GUMMY BEARS. HAHA.
