A BIG change and a few FAVORITE things!

The Big Change-
Well after today Jake and I are in a little bit of shock!! We were called in today before church, So that we could be given a new calling. So we thought primary teachers maybe cub scouts. We really had are hopes set on the nursery yummy snacks toys to play with crayons to draw with a few primary songs and lessons that consist of - So how do we show Heavenly Father that we love him? (answer) uhhhh to be nice. and best of all no Sunday school! We were pretty hopeful as you can see we already had it all planned out. So what calling did we receive you might be asking yourselves right now. Well as Jake put it Bishop just threw us into the FIRE!! ha ha we were called to be Gospel Doctrine Teachers. So we will teach the class together. So opposite of NURSERY!! No snacks no toys no answers like uhhh be nice and nothing but Sunday School. So whats the biggest change for us you ask, well that would be going from sitting in the back listening to the lesson trying to keep up with it all to Teaching it!! Needless to say we feel very inadequate!

A few Favorite Things-
Cory does the funniest things lately, like today he was glaring at this Little boy during sacrament and we were trying not to laugh at him but it was pretty funny. He does this face to us all the time his Little scowl I have yet to capture it in a picture but when I do I will post it.
He just started saying this funny thing you can barely understand it but its soo cute he comes running into the living room with his hand turned up and says wer di go? and we never know what he is looking for???? hmmm
He loves to be chased!! and we love to chase him he screams and laughs so hard and when he gets running away form yo he runs so fast but he always has to do the look over the shoulder to see were you are. I have no idea how he doesn't just crash into the wall or something it cracks me up. We are so thankful for him!!

Nicole,
Oh my goodness! I had that calling awhile ago when zane was a baby. I will say it helped increased my scripture study and prayer. You guys will do great and even better you get to team teach.

I hear ya on the whole "hard calling" thing. Trace and I teach the 15-18 year olds Sunday school class...well actually the 12-18 year old. It is an interesting calling. The youth are WAY better than the old timers though. I'm sure you will do GREAT. Good luck though. I'm supposed to be preparing my lesson right now, but I got distracted with the whole blog thing.
