March Birthday Madness

This is late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!

My wonderful, amazing, beautiful Aunt that's more like a sister then an aunt/roommate had a birthday. and we celebrated it with Mariah's delicious homemade lasagna and birthday cake made by yours truly (that's me by the way).

Lucky we had some visitors from Heber (Jed & Nicole you should visit more often)

Soon it will be My Brother Tyrel’s Birthday then my brother Keith’s and then My Uncle Nathans and Aunt Shelly’s then MINE!! Told you it was March Birthday Madness!!

                                             Yes the cake is crooked! Ha Ha That’s what happens when you make a tiered cake as fast as you can  (like 4 or 5 hours) of course Jake would be the only one that evening to point this out to me. As if I didn't already know!

Kellin got a Haircut! He looks so different but never fails he refuses to look into the camera! 

And of course Cory is in his Underwear as usual this time he had a partner in crime Little Parker.    

And one more For Callie Girl. Isn't she adorable and aren't those Cheeks perfectly mushy! I Know. Right?

January...

This Month has been a nightmare around here filled with sick and crying babies, My stress level is at an all time high, I really could use a nice long bubble bath. That's what I dream about these days 30 min of quiet relaxation. ahhh a simpler time when I was big pregnant and miserable with only 2 children.

This month Cory has had an ear infection, and bronchitis- Kellin has had Bronchitis along with teething- and Callie has had an ear infection—Thankfully no bronchitis! (this is me screaming in my pillow) While for the most part everyone is on the mend thanks to amoxicillin, We also now have amoxicillin to thank for little kellins horrible bum rash that has made him so miserable and cranky that I am about ready to just throw it in the trash (only one more day left to take that crap). And now Callie is developing this little nightmare of a rash as well (Dr. Says to keep an eye out for a yeast infection for her because of the wonderful amoxicillin) So help me I might curse on this blog if that happens.

My kids have taken amoxicillin before and never had such ridiculous annoyances before, just one more thing. I say BRING IT ON!! Ok not really. I would just like to go back to normal—whatever that is…

In the meantime I have some pictures that make this month look like it was a success but don't be fooled behind these happy bubbly faces is about one million catrillion TEARS. I've been puked and pooped on like 25 times (this number really isn't an exaggeration now you know why I need a bath or shower have I even taken one this month I cant remember I must have slept showered you know like slept walked. anyway back to the pictures.

Baby Sister LOVES to blow bubbles!

I often find these two banging on the computer screen they both need spankings!

Just having some fun editing this face. It sure is a cute face!  We spent A LOT of time in my bed. Oh and Cory got these silly glasses from his uncle Ben who got them after an eye exam. Cory uses them to be Cyclops (you know the guy from x-men)

Ok so January didn't seem so bad but trust me I cant wait for it to be over! I hope February brings healthy happy kiddos!

Cant believe this girl is 2 months old!! Were have the weeks gone? Isn't she beautiful! Oh boy has she chunked up! And I LOVE it. Perfect and squishy like Kellin was... is...

She is just the sweetest baby sleeps so well through most of the night. A great eater, as you can tell by those cheeks she has gained 5 LBS!!! Weighing in at just around 12 and 1/2 lbs isn't it lovely. And so much fun to get dressed up. The rest of us around here barely get out of our Jammies for the day but you can count on Callie being decked out from top to bottom just about everyday!! We are so blessed to have little Callie in our home I think she is going to be just what these boys need around here!

No More Fear

I have been putting of this post well for about 9-10 months now. But I have finally decided to go for it. What is “IT” you ask?

I am finally putting myself out there and am for hire. Photographically Speaking of course. Shame on you for thinking differently! I have wanted to do this for YEARS! I have always had a passion and love for photographs, last November after years of looking and wanting a new camera Jake was so sweet to get me my very first DSLR! It was love at first sight I bet I took 200 pictures in that single day. I began reading and drowning myself in all things Photography I was very determined to use that camera and use it right. Since then I have learned a lot! A drop in a bucket in comparison to what I have yet to learn!

I have always wanted it to be more then just a hobby, but I have been making up excuses and reasons of why not to go into business for myself for a long time excuses like these pop in my head every time I decide to go for it, My camera isn't the best on the market, My lenses are cheap and not as good as everyone else's, I don't know enough, I'm not good enough, what if no one hires me, what if they don't love their pictures. The list goes on, but Sunday I woke up and told myself to quit being afraid and doubting and just go for it already. I have nothing to loose right? The only way to get better, to be the photographer I want to be is by doing it. So that's what I’m doing! And who knows maybe I will get to were I want to be someday taking the pictures I want to take.

A Very Merry Christmas To You... And Me

We hope you all had a Great Christmas and a safe fun New Year! We did… Except that Jake had to work Christmas Day—at least we had him in the morning— And he worked a double on New Years Eve(1:30pm Dec31st to 6:00am Jan1st) so we only saw him New Years day after he woke up to head back out the door to work again at 12:30, he is one tires fella. But We are very grateful for him and all his hard work and that he has such a good job!

Anyway On with the last Christmas Post of 2010! The boys had a blast Christmas morning Callie just slept and Jake and I enjoyed laughing at the boys as they acted like they had never seen a single present in their lives!
